Alex Hera is a filmmaker, writer, and editor working in found footage, documentary, and interactive storytelling. They created Walker Creek (2020–2021), an alternate reality game and web series of more than 100 videos that was later re-edited into a feature film. Hera wrote, directed, produced, and edited the found footage feature What I Remember (2025), which premiered at the Unnamed Footage Festival and received its Founders Seal award. They also created The History of Analog Horror (2022) and the three-part documentary series Slenderverse (2024), exploring the creators and communities behind internet horror. For the anthology series Final Transmissions, Hera wrote, directed, and edited the episode “Bethel Hill.”
